Operation 360 (“we”, “us”) provides site operations software for lodges, farms and factories. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Information we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone (optional), company / site name, role.
- Billing details needed to process payments (handled by Paystack; we do not store full card numbers).
- Operational data you enter in the app (e.g. readings, maintenance issues, guest requests).
- Technical logs: IP address, device/browser type, approximate usage timestamps for security and support.
How we use information
- To provide and secure the Service for your site and authorised users.
- To bill subscriptions, send invoices/receipts, and handle support.
- To improve reliability and prevent abuse.
- To communicate about your account, trials, renewals and material product changes.
Legal bases
We process personal information where needed to perform our contract with you, comply with law, pursue legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), or where you have consented (e.g. optional marketing).
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- Infrastructure providers that host the app and data (e.g. Google Firebase / Google Cloud).
- Paystack, to process payments.
- Professional advisers or authorities where required by law.
International transfers
Our processors may store or process data outside South Africa. We use reputable providers and contractual safeguards appropriate to the transfer.
Retention
We keep account and operational data while your site is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal, tax and dispute purposes, then delete or anonymise where practicable.
Security
We use industry-standard controls (encryption in transit, access controls, authenticated accounts). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and limit access to trusted staff.
Your rights
Subject to POPIA, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal information, or object to certain processing. Contact hello@operation360.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Children
The Service is intended for business use by adults, not for children under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change; material changes may also be notified in-app or by email.
